Delivery
Delivery of your sofa is free, provided that access for a 3.5-ton vehicle is possible without extra effort or cost. Delivery is carried out by a two-person service directly into your living room.
Delivery conditions
- Any special requirements for delivery must be communicated in advance; otherwise this may lead to delivery delays or additional costs.
- Delivery is possible up to and including the 5th floor without an elevator. From the 6th floor onward, we deliver only to the curbside.
- The maximum carrying distance is 150 meters. If the transport route is longer, this must be agreed in advance.
- If these conditions are not met, this may result in delivery limitations or additional costs.
- As we always operate according to our sustainability motto, we cannot guarantee fixed preferred delivery dates. However, we try to take your preferences into account as much as possible in our route planning.
Receipt of delivery & inspection of goods
- Check the goods immediately upon delivery for completeness and any damage.
- Defects or transport damage must be recorded directly at delivery and reported to our customer service within 24 hours.
Not present at the delivery time
- If you are not present at the agreed delivery time, the goods can be handed over to a neighbor with a written authorization. Otherwise, a new delivery is required and additional costs will be charged.
- If the agreed delivery appointment with the carrier is not kept or is not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance, processing fees of EUR 250 will be charged. A new delivery date will only be scheduled after these fees have been paid.
Address changes
Changing the address after the delivery date has been confirmed is no longer possible. Please carefully check your details before completing your order.
Shipping costs
- Free shipping from EUR 500.
- Below that amount, we charge EUR 10 shipping costs.
Delivery delay
We would like to point out that, in certain cases, delivery delays may occur for reasons that so far cannot be explained. In such situations, no compensation or damage claims can be made. We do everything we can to ensure delivery runs as smoothly as possible and will inform you of delays as early as possible.
Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that cannot be attributed to their commercial or self-employed professional activity (§ 13 BGB).
Withdrawal instructions
For the product group sofas, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within one hundred days without giving any reason. For all other products (with the exception of personalized products), the statutory return period of fourteen days applies.
Personalized furniture and individual replacement covers are excluded from return. A sofa is considered personalized as soon as it differs from the standard version on the Livom website. Examples include different colors, modified dimensions, or any individual configuration in the configurator.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (livom möbel ag, nl@livom.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by a written notice (e.g., by email). If you do so, we will promptly send you (e.g., by email) a confirmation of receipt of your withdrawal.
Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you. The refund will be made once the product has arrived at our warehouse and has been inspected for possible damage.
For this refund, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will fees be charged for the refund.
You can organize the return shipment yourself, or—upon request—have livom möbel ag arrange it for the product group sofas. In that case, the actual transport costs up to a maximum of 300 euros will be charged to the customer. Please contact customer service at nl@livom.com if you would like us to organize the pickup.
Products delivered by parcel post must be returned or handed over by the customer at their own expense without delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract.
You are liable for any depreciation of the goods if that depreciation results from handling beyond what is necessary to check the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. We reserve the right to deduct the cost of damaged returns from the refund amount.
Return policy for Outlet & show models
Unfortunately, we cannot offer a right of return for showroom models and outlet products (B-stock).
Temporary storage of your sofa
We ask for your understanding that we can accept orders at most 3 months before the desired delivery date. Longer interim storage is unfortunately not possible.
